VARYNX LITE
What is VARYNX and how does it protect my device?
VARYNX is a privacy-first security engine for Android that runs 10 independent security modules entirely on your device—with zero cloud dependency, no analytics, and no data collection. It monitors your device across network security (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC), device integrity (root detection, USB debugging), cryptographic threats (wallet drainers, seed phrase exposure), and scam detection. All threat detection happens locally in real-time.
Is VARYNX truly 100% offline and does it collect my data?
Yes. VARYNX works completely offline and makes zero network requests. Your data never leaves your device—we don't collect, transmit, or store any information externally. There is no telemetry, no analytics, and no third-party services (no Firebase, Crashlytics, or cloud services). Your security scan results and audit logs are encrypted and stored only on your device.
How much battery does VARYNX use?
Very little. VARYNX scans your device every 10 minutes (aligned to wall-clock boundaries), with each scan taking less than 4 seconds of active CPU time. Across approximately 144 daily scans, total active CPU time is only about 10 minutes per day—minimal impact on battery life. Below 10% battery, Bluetooth scans are automatically skipped to conserve power while other security modules continue.
What Android version does VARYNX support?
VARYNX requires Android 13 (API 33) or higher and targets Android 15 (API 35). It is compatible with most modern Android devices released since 2021.

How is my security score calculated and what does it mean?
Your security score (0–100) is calculated using a 3-axis risk model that evaluates the severity of each finding, the category weight of the threat type, and detection confidence. A score of 100 means your device is fully secure with no active threats detected. When your score drops, tap the security category tiles on the dashboard to see which engine flagged an issue and take recommended action (e.g., disabling USB debugging, removing a risky app, or switching to a secure Wi-Fi network).

VARYNX 2.0
What is VARYNX 2.0 and how is it different from the lite version?
VARYNX 2.0 is a full Android security app that detects threats AND responds to them intelligently. The lite version is a detection-only tool that scans your phone and alerts you to problems. VARYNX 2.0 goes further: (1) It learns — the app studies what's normal on your phone and gets smarter at spotting real threats over time; (2) It thinks — instead of just flagging issues, it analyzes threats from multiple angles to understand how serious they are; (3) It acts — when it finds a threat, the app responds automatically based on how dangerous it is—warning you, blocking the threat, or locking down your phone if needed. Everything stays on your phone with zero cloud connection and zero data collection.
How does VARYNX 2.0 figure out if something is a threat?
VARYNX 2.0 works like a security guard with a checklist. First, it scans your phone for suspicious activity (23 different checks, like watching what apps are doing, checking your network, looking for fake apps, etc.). Then, it thinks about what it found and decides how serious it is using smart analysis that learns what's normal for your phone. Next, it takes action if needed—it might warn you, block something, or lock down your phone if there's a real danger. Finally, it shows you what happened in a way that makes sense. Unlike the lite version which only detects and alerts, VARYNX 2.0 learns your phone's patterns and responds automatically with the right level of protection. All of this happens only on your phone.
How does VARYNX 2.0 compare to other security apps?
VARYNX 2.0 is built on three core principles that set it apart: (1) 100% offline — most security apps send data to cloud servers for analysis and store your information externally. VARYNX 2.0 does everything locally on your phone with zero cloud dependency—your security data never leaves your device; (2) Zero data collection — competitors typically collect analytics, crash reports, or device telemetry to improve their services. VARYNX 2.0 collects nothing—there's no telemetry, no analytics, no third-party services; (3) Automatic response — many security apps only detect threats and alert you, leaving you to take action. VARYNX 2.0 not only detects threats but responds automatically based on severity—blocking dangerous apps, securing connections, or locking down your phone without waiting for you to react. The trade-off is that VARYNX 2.0 doesn't use cloud intelligence signatures, but instead relies on learning your device's patterns locally for faster, more personalized protection.
Will VARYNX 2.0 drain my phone's battery?
No. VARYNX 2.0 is designed to be very light on your battery. It checks your phone every 60 seconds, and each check only takes about 4 seconds of processing power. That adds up to about 1.5 hours of work per day spread across 24 hours—less impact than streaming a single video. When your battery gets low (below 10%), VARYNX 2.0 automatically slows down some checks to save power. You should barely notice it running.
What does VARYNX 2.0 do when it finds a threat?
When VARYNX 2.0 spots something dangerous, it responds based on how serious the threat is. For minor issues, it sends you a notification so you know about it. For more serious threats, it can block the dangerous app or connection automatically. For critical threats, it can lock down your phone to keep you safe. You'll see what happened in the app, and you can always review the details in the Threat Log. You're always in control—you can choose what to do with warnings, or let VARYNX 2.0 handle serious threats automatically.
